Tordek was raised in a deep dwarven city in the underdark. He was sent away to help form a colony nearer to the surface for trade benefits after becoming a full grown man. Serving as a Watchmen of his new home, he fought the deadly Gorgons which could breath gas that turned you to stone. One day on patrol three of them ambushed his battalion and he was injured and forced to retreat. Watching his kindred die at there hands changed him forever as did witnessing how the clerics healed him. He decided to become a cleric himself and learn the ways of Moradin. Later on Merlin came to him and told him of three adventurers who needed a cleric for a great journey and with his councils permission, joined them. Serving as there healer he saved the group many times as they warred with the prime evils and returned home to become the high clergymen of his people. He made strong ties with the elves and celestials and his peoples trade finaly prospered.
