History: Hadrien was born a pure blood vampire, and thus he knows nothing of the light or warmth. This knowledge and lack of experience with humans has left him dark and sullen. He spent his younger centuries in the pursuit of a love to fill the void created from his undeath. He lost one he loved to ignorant humans and this deepened his depression just when he found hope.

In return for his pains, Hadrien enslaved the villages that once hunted him, turning them into an army of servants. They built for him a castle and in it he gathered dozens of concubines to lessen his loneliness. A demon prince named Damascos appeared soon after, the vampire lord spent nearly a hundred years fighting him for dominance over the rich lands and cities of humans. When it was over, the demon prince was apparently banished beneath the earth.

Still after so much triumph, Hadrien could not find anyone to share his wealth and endless life. The bored and depressed vampire held a sort of competition, any woman in his harem that could capture his heart would become queen over all the lands of his dark world. As it so happens, Kyra, a run away from werewolves entered his castle at the time, and by pure accident, fell in love for him, replacing his favorite concubine Kygra, who ran away.

Kygra found and married Hadrien's nemesis Damascos, who resurfaced into power awhile Hadrien was traveling the world with his wife and their new daughter. When he returned to find the demon alive and bearing the children of his own wife Kygra, The two began a war between one another, ended only by the friendship of their wives, and children. Now the two kings live happily upon thrones of death, lording over the envious humans and lesser monsters of the dark world.
